How do i kill em is there a way im a w/mo i want to kill jades scarabs but dont know how, im a w/mo lvl 20 and i saw my partner wich was same as me kill like 20 jade scarabs and i could barely kill 2, i mean even if i used healing hands it wouldnt work and she did some combo. can anyone tell me how

i know but those things remove enchantments
and she wasnt using enchantments

Hmmm, do you mean the jade scarabs out in the desert? I just got to the desert for the first time with my lvl 19 mesmer and have had little problem killing jade scarabs. I have been playing quite a bit solo, going out with 5 henchmen (the two warriors, the protector, the monk and the cultist) and these guys do a fine job.

I have a problem with the other creatures, can't take on more than 2, maybe 3 at a time. My character died twice last night when my party got in a battle with more than 3, but my henchmen did fine! After the henchies finally killed the attacking beasts, I got resurrected.

But I haven't had much problem with the jade scarabs. Then again, I am getting much help from the henchies: being healed constantly by the protector, monk and cultist (increases my healing rate with his necro skills), and the two warrior as tanks/killers. I don't think I would do as well with human players since, in my experience, humans (even monks) do not tend to heal others very often.

my lvl 20 W/Mo has no problems with jade scarab's in the desert. I don't have max damage weapon or any mods on my weapon (aprt from customization), I don't have any elite skills.. nor do I have forge armor. Note I play with henchies.

Basically what I do if focus attack on 1 scarab at a time and use Cyclone Axe whenever I am surrounded and have the energy. my skill bar is Power Attack, Penetrating Attack, Cyclone Axe, Watch Yourself!, Healing Signet, Resurrect & 2 other attack skilsl that I can't remember the name of..

What I do is start with my weakest energy based attack, then I eiuther use my other 1v1 attack or cyclone axe if I'm surrounded already... if not surrounded I use my 2nd energy atatck skill and then cyclone axe... by this time my adren skills are powered up.. I hit WY! for defense.. then cycle through my attacks through adren skills..

Basically keep this up untill every scarab is dead. I find myself able to kill scarabs very fast doing this. just hit cyclone axe when I have energy.. and then other energy attack skills when I have the energy and cyclone is still cycling through.. use adren attack skills as soon as I have the adren. WY! helps keep me safe from damage as well as the henchies.

Having both Lina & Alesia with me helps a whole lot as having 2 monk's healing me means I don't bother with healing myself very much - but at times I still use healing signet because it's needed. U have to say I've never had my health healed by Claude (cultist - necro henchmen).. however his energy boosting definately helps as it does let me cyclone axe more often when he actually does BiP on me..

if the OP wants to solo them... then I can't help them. Maybe they should ask the person they saw killing them fast how they did it? That would seem to be the best bet to me...

As I ranger I use the following to take them out:

I combine Ignite Arrows + Dual Shot or Flurry and Edge of Extintion

Should allow you to take them out in no time. Once Edge kicked in, it does bugger loads of damage to them.

Later you can replace Dual Shot and Flurry with Barrage, allowing you hit six of the buggers at once.
